Microsoft Game Studios busca programadores para Natal

¿Tienes manejo en CryEngine o Unreal Engine? ¿Has programado algún juego que haya salido al mercado? ¿Has formado parte de algún equipo de desarrollo para alguna compañía de videojuegos durante más de 5 años? Si reunes todas éstas características, estás de enhorabuena.

Resulta que Microsoft Game Studios (MGS, como quiere que le llamen), busca programadores y desarrolladores para sus nuevos proyectos basados en Natal, el sistema de captación de movimientos de Microsoft.

La oferta de trabajo la podéis encontrar en la web de Microsoft, y la verdad, es bastante normalita, no hay unos requisitos especialmente difíciles, todos hemos publicado algún juego alguna vez… ¿no?

La verdad, es que he puesto ésta nota como curiosidad, pero sí es cierto que, apenas 3 semanas del anuncio de Natal, ya se está empezando a enviar los kits de desarrollo a las empresas, y a contratar gente para los primeros videojuegoos basados en ésta tecnología.

This position requires 5+ years of development experience, including shipping at least one product. Candidates with game experience are preferred. Experience with C/C++ and multithreaded code is essential, and exposure to console development or common gaming solutions strongly preferred. A BS or MS in computer science or related discipline is preferred.

We’re building a new team, so we’re looking for a wide array of specialties: strong math, physics, AI or networking backgrounds are all welcome.

The ideal candidate will be highly flexible and self-motivated, with strong communication skills and a passion for games, able to work effectively with other disciplines and external development partners.
